Abstract
It seems to me that the FPTP voting system is no longer truly representative of voters wishes in BC, hence not truly democratic. I would, therefore, opt for some form of MMP in which a measure of proportionality is effected. [1 page]

Before being specific, I would make the following observations:

   1. There is no perfect system 

   2. The simpler the system, the better and

   3. The world we live in is too confrontational - politically, economically, judicially,and socially.

We need to inject a more co-operative attitude in every sphere and some form of proportional representation would seem to help to do this.

It seems to me that the FPTP voting system is no longer truly representative of voters wishes in B.C., hence not truly democratic. I would, therefore, opt for some form of MMP in which a measure of proportionality is effected.
