Submission Content
I suggest the present system in which a person may vote for the candidate of their choice in their riding, is the most democratic one that we have available. The only way this could be more democratic is if the ridings were smaller, so that more people could be represented.

Any manipulation of the present system that resulted in people not elected in their riding actually taking a seat in the legislature would, in my opinion, leave us subject to dishonest manipulation of the voting system.

First past the post is an inaccurate way to describe our present voting system as it misleads us into thinking that the votes are not counted when, in fact, they are.
