I wish at this time to express my support for the MMP method of
voting to the Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform. The primary
reason being that it is a relatively simple process and is easlily
and transparently tallied at the time of the vote count. I strongly
oppose the STV method of ballot counting as it is complex to tally
and is far to susceptible to error and lack of clarity. I believe
that the adoption of a overly complex system of talling ballots
will further alienate voters and further reduce participation in
the electoral process.
