Abstract
I support the idea of proportional representation [PR].  With Pro-Rep, we would have better representation of the parties at the last election, which would have provided BC with at least some opposition members in the legislature. [1 page]

Submission Content
I totally support the idea of proportional representation.

I believe that with Pro-Rep, we would have a better representation of the parties voted for in our last election. This would have provided our province with at least some opposition members in the legislature.
With the current system, the Liberals obtained a monopoly and proportionately this not how the people of British Columbia actually voted.

This means 20% of the voters did not get represented. I believe Pro-Rep would bring more people to the polls because their vote would mean something.  Last provincial election many individuals stated to me they were going to vote Liberal "because everyone else was, so what's the point of trying to vote differently". Pro-Rep would likely remove this attitude and more individuals would be willing to vote.

Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion. Free my vote!
