As an ordinary working man I have always voted in every
election, but have felt strongly that the current system does not
fairly represent a great many of the electorate. It gives rise to
situations such as the current one with huge majorities and
ineffective oppositions where the government can pursue its agenda
without consideration of its effect on the Province.
I do not have the time or inclination to study and make a reasoned
sugestion as I think you are in a much better position to do that.
However I am certain that some form of Proportional Representation
would at least make my vote count and hopefully provide a wider
viewpoint in the Legislature and possibly a moderation of the
policies pursued by the government.
