Abstract
I prefer the MMP system because its simplicity makes it a viable option for all voters. It keeps the electoral districts small, so that people really feel that they are represented by a local MLA, as well as by the party of their choice. [1 page]

I would like to express my preference for the MMP style of proportional representational election system (similar to that of New Zealand).

I prefer the MMP system because its simplicity makes it a viable option for ALL voters. It keeps the electoral districts small, so that people really feel that they are represented by a LOCAL MLA, as well as by the party of their choosing.

I think the STV system is too cumbersome and impersonal, with electoral districts that are too large, a disaster for rural BC.

The MMP system demonstrates our best option for turning out a maximum voter population and for creating the truest representation of the voters' wishes.
