I firmly believe that the MMP electoral system would provide a fairer system and be much more reflective of the voters' wishes.  Voters would inevitably be more inclined to cast ballots by knowing that their voices would be heard in a meaningful way.  They would be able to vote their conscience and expect that their vote will have an impact on our future. The present system is not only outdated but promotes apathy, cynicism and low particpation.
