Abstract

British Columbia needs a system of proportional representation
(Mixed Proportional Representation) like the one used in New

In 2002, 98,000 British Columbians signed petitions for "A
Citizen's Initiative to Establish a Proportional Representation
Electoral System in BC". The Initiative called for an electoral
system similar to those used in Germany and New Zealand. The
attached newspaper explains in detail how this system works and
