Abstract
|
I favour PR because it gives all viewpoints a voice in the
legislature. Failing that, I like the model where
voters rank the candidates (one for first choice, 2 for
second etc) and the one with the lowest score is elected [Borda].

I would like to say that I favour the proportional
representation [PR] model. I feel that this gives all
viewpoints a voice in the legislature. Failing that I like the
model where voters number the candidates (one for first choice, 2
for second etc) and the one with the lowest score is elected. This
system gives a compromise candidate who would be ready to work for
the electorate not just follow the party line, I think.
