I would like to see proportional representation [PR] implemented. There are many forms of PR, many of which would be appropriate, the main goal would be for the popular vote to be counted towards each party. [1 page]

I would like to see proportional representation [PR] implemented. There are many forms of this type of representation, many of which would be appropriate, the main goal would be for the popular vote to be counted towards each party. Thereby the voters across the country would be registered to elect candidates based on a percentage of the popular vote rather than by ridings. A combination of ridings and proportional representation [MMP] would allow for the parliament to reflect the people of this country more fairly than the present system.
