Abstract
I suggest a Mixed Member Proportional [MMP] type system similar to that of New Zealand.  British Columbia should provide leadership in Canada in this kind of voting system.  [1 page]

I suggest a Mixed Member Proportional [MMP] type system similar to that of New Zealand.  I think British Columbia should provide leadership in Canada in this kind of voting system.
 
 I think we should avoid at all costs a US type system of two parties where no one without money and without an "in" with the ruling parties can participate as candidates. 
 
I think we could even go to a lottery type system where ordinary people are randomly selected to spend two years as a Member of the Legislative Assembly, they would probably do a better job than professional politicians. 
 
Thank you for your efforts on this endeavour, may you maintain your center ground and balanced mind and really hear the citizens and not bow down to pressure to preserve a system that will benefit the current government.  We need to be attending to life seven generations into the future, not short-term gain.
