I sincerely hope we will see a Mixed Proportional Representation [MMP] System in BC, and in Canada too eventually.  First past the post elections are won by whoever has the most money, and primarily cater to  influence peddlers.  [1 page]

I sincerely hope we will see a Mixed Proportional Representation [MMP] System in BC, and in Canada too eventually.

First past the post elections are won by whoever has the most money, and primarily cater to the big businesses and influence peddlers, who provide the money. This is a complete mockery of democracy. No wonder voter turn-out is so low.

MMP will allow for real discourse from ALL stake-holders. Wow! What a concept! That is democracy.
