I think a proportional representation system as is currently used in New Zealand [MMP] will stregthen our democracy. The system itself encourages collaborative decision-making for the highest good of the majority of citizens. [1 page]

I think a proportional representation system as is currently used in New Zealand [MMP] will stregthen our democracy. The system itself encourages collaborative decision-making for the highest good of the majority of citizens. It will curtail the power of vested corporate interests. It will provide a government representing the diverse concerns of a balanced society. THis is more important than the vast majority even suspect.
